Job Description

We are hiring 1099 Independent Contractors (without a non-compete). You will be told the preferred location, days, and times as well as the hourly pay before you choose to work with an offered student. You will be paid on the 1st of each month.
Tutors must:
be in-person in Dallas and/or surrounding regions (including Arlington, Flower Mound, Fort Worth, Grapevine, Irving, Plano, Rowlett, etc.) have at least 1 year of teaching/tutoring experience have a college degree or be enrolled in college Must be able to tutor in more than one subject area (i.e. not just math or just English) Subjects needed (in order of increased hourly pay): Elementary school: academics and enrichment Middle school: academics, enrichment, and high school placement test prep (ISEE/HSPT/SEHS) High school: academics, enrichment, ACT/SAT, and college applications
College:
academics, enrichment, GRE/GMAT/MCAT/LSAT/etc, and graduate school / job applications All sessions must include lessons in (free training will be offered): Metacognition (self-assessment, self-monitoring, mindfulness, focus, etc.) Executive Functions (time management, planning, prioritizing, organization, independence, etc.) Soft Skills (critical thinking, creative problem solving, innovation, advocacy, collaboration, leadership, etc.) Additional details:
Pay:
$25+/hr (depends on grade level, location, and number of students; average is $40/hr)
Hours:
Coordinated between the client and tutor (most students want to meet evenings and/or weekends)
Locations:
In-person at/near students' homes/schools in/near
Chicago, DFW, Houston, or Austin NOTE:
For each potential student offered to you, you will be told the grade level, subject(s), hourly pay, availability, and location in advance to help you decide if you'll accept that student.

$25.00 - $60.00 per hour
