Position Details Role:

Reading/Writing Tutor (Part-Time)

Weekdays:

3:30 -8:00 PM ( up to 2 hrs/day guaranteed initially )

Sat:

10:00 AM - 2:00 PM ( up to 2 hrs/day guaranteed initially ) • Exact working days and hours may vary based on class schedule. •

Position Type:

Part-time, independent contractor (1099) — tutors are responsible for their own tax filing Who We're Looking For We are seeking a dedicated, long-term tutor who can: Confidently teach Reading and Writing for elementary through middle school students Also, separately, teach Classic Literature and short story classes to high school students." Lead small-group classes (max 3 students per group) Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging Reading/Writing lessons using Reading Town's structured curriculum Adapt instruction to meet varying student levels within small groups Track and communicate student progress with the center director Foster a positive, supportive learning environment Requirements Teaching certification or relevant classroom/tutoring experience preferred Strong passion for helping students improve reading and writing skills Ability to work with both lower and upper grade levels Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work on-site in
