Motor Vehicle Inspection License Full Job Description Role:
Senior Automotive Technician Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair customer vehicles with accuracy and efficiency, perform advanced diagnostics, heavy-duty repairs, and ensure compliance with MAP, dealership, manufacturer, and company standards. Explain technical issues to customers and team members, recommend necessary services, document repairs, follow safety procedures, and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications:
Previous automotive technician or mechanic experience required; ASE certifications or equivalent experience preferred. Must possess a valid driver's license, be at least 18 years old, and have or obtain a State Inspector License if applicable. High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
Skills:
Proficiency with computerized diagnostic equipment, strong problem-solving skills, ability to work with heavy and light repairs, and excellent communication. Physical ability to stand, bend, lift up to 70 pounds, and work in varying environmental conditions with safety gear.
Key Duties:
Diagnosing vehicles, performing repairs, explaining technical issues, recommending services, adhering to safety and company policies, and working flexible schedules without Sundays. Provides quality service and maintains high safety standards.
