Student Success Job Summary Math Tutors needed for Student Success Tutoring labs and College Preparatory courses on the Corinth campus. All levels needed, from College Preparatory (Beginning Algebra) through Statistics and Algebra. This is a part-time position with no more than 19 hours a week. Required Education Peer tutors (students) must have a recommendation from a faculty member and have completed a college level math course with an A or B and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Professional tutors must submit transcripts and have successfully completed college math courses with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Required Skills & Abilities Peer tutors (students) must have a recommendation from a faculty member and have completed a college level math course with an A or B and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Professional tutors must submit transcripts and have successfully completed college math courses with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Required Experience Experience tutoring adult learners in an educational setting. Special Instructions to Applicants Subject to a criminal background check. Employees must reside in Texas or Oklahoma. Resume and unofficial transcripts required in addition to application. Located on the Corinth campus. Pay ranges from $12.00 per hour up to $19.00 per hour, depending on education.
