Program:

At Innovate Learning Hub , our mission is to empower young minds through dynamic learning experiences that build confidence, creativity, and a strong academic foundation. The Math & ELA tutoring program is designed to help students in grades K-12 strengthen key academic skills, close learning gaps, and get ready for the next grade through engaging, hands-on literacy and numeracy experiences. We seek passionate, responsible, and energetic instructors to guide students through this growth-focused journey, blending fun with academics in a nurturing and structured environment. Position Summary:

The Innovate Tutor is responsible for delivering age-appropriate and developmentally appropriate lessons in reading, writing, and mathematics. The instructor will work directly with students grades K-12 in small group settings, fostering a safe, supportive, and academically rich learning environment. This role requires the ability to plan and implement structured lessons, differentiate instruction based on student needs, and contribute to a fun, collaborative, and high-impact camp experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging instruction in reading, writing, and mathematics based on provided curriculum and pacing guides Plan, organize, and implement standards-aligned enrichment activities that support grade-level readiness Adapt instruction for a variety of learning levels and student needs Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive camp environment through positive classroom management and social-emotional learning Supervise and actively engage students during structured and unstructured times Track and communicate student progress as needed Participate in staff meetings, training, and orientation sessions Collaborate with other instructors and camp leaders to ensure program success

Must enjoy working with children and fostering their academic growth. ✅ Required Certifications (or willingness to obtain prior to start): CPR (Child & Adult) First Aid AED Child Abuse Prevention Training ✅

Preferred Experience & Skills:

University Degree Experience working with children in a developmental, educational, or camp setting Expertise in at least one enrichment area (literacy instruction, reading intervention, foundational math skills, etc.); certification may be required Strong instructional, classroom management, and small group facilitation skills Ability to plan and implement purposeful, engaging academic activities High energy, reliability, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Monday-Saturday (as assigned)

Hours:

we are open from 11 AM - 7 PM and instructors will flex with students schedule and instructors availability.

Compensation & Opportunities:

Hourly Rate:

From $12-15/hr based on experience, certifications, and availability.

Training Provided:

Orientation and curriculum training prior to camp start. All teaching materials supplied. Employee discounts available for children. We will only review applications submitted online.
