Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with the SAT curriculum, focusing on math, reading, writing, and test-taking strategies Deliver engaging tutoring sessions utilizing learning technology tools to enhance student understanding and retention Assess individual student needs through diagnostic testing and customize instruction accordingly Provide clear explanations of complex concepts in math, writing, and reading comprehension Manage classroom dynamics effectively, fostering a positive learning environment that encourages active participation Track student progress regularly and adjust lesson plans to meet evolving needs Prepare students for the format and timing of the SAT through practice tests and review sessions Collaborate with parents, teachers, or school counselors when appropriate to support student success Qualifications Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, especially in math, reading, or writing at the high school or adult education level Strong knowledge of the SAT exam structure, content areas, and effective test strategies Familiarity with learning technology platforms and digital instructional tools Excellent classroom management skills to create an engaging learning environment Experience working with students from varied backgrounds, including those with special education needs Prior classroom experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for helping students succeed is essential
