Kumon Tutor/Teaching Assistant At Kumon, we help students improve their Math and Reading skills and become independent learners. We provide full training and a great working environment. HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE
STUDENTS, given the
PART-TIME
work schedule and nature of the job. Please note this job requires you to come
IN-PERSON
to the Kumon center for work; you cannot work remotely.
Tasks:
Help guide students through their assignments. The position would entail working with Pre-K through middle school students. Grade math and reading assignments using an answer book. Provide feedback to director on student performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
Must be responsible and mature, and have a positive and respectful attitude toward students and other center staff. Must have a personality that will be engaging and interactive with students. Enjoy working with children and comfortable working with children. Prior work experience is a plus but is not required. Training will be provided. Can work a
MINIMUM OF TWO DAYS PER WEEK
Both Tuesdays AND Thursdays from 4pm-7pm.
DO NOT APPLY IF YOU CANNOT WORK AT LEAST THE TUES. AND THURS. SCHEDULE. A
Monday shift from 4-6pm and a Saturday shift from 10am-1pm is also possible, if desired.
