This position is based at Burbank HS in SAISD and hours worked are completed at the high school at 1002 Edwards, San Antonio, TX 78204. (The position is supervised by Dean of Student Succss-Inst Sup 1819 N Main Ave. San Antonio, Texas, 78212 United States ) Outside working hours if other than M-F 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.: Monday-Friday 11 am to 2 pm; Occasional evenings and weekend hours to support student field trips once per month. Job Summary and Description Play a crucial role in student success by working with students to identify their academic needs and provide personalized tutoring sessions.

Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience:
Associate's degree or equivalent education (60 hours) including successful completion of college-level coursework in the related field.
Preferred Education and Experience:
1 year of tutoring, teaching or directly related experience. Experience working with a multi-cultural population of students with varying backgrounds and education. Knowledge and experience tutoring in the English Language Arts to help improve students' writing skills through classroom assignments and college application documents.
