Be able to explain concepts to others effectively. Effectively communicate study strategies to ensure academic success. Work comfortably with people from diverse backgrounds. Tutor needs patience, good verbal communication skills and the ability to work with students with a variety of skill levels Preferred Knowledge & Skills NA Licensing/Certification Requirements NA Job Duties Provide content and skill-development tutoring to students individually or in small groups. Maintain a tutoring schedule as needed. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of tutoring sessions. Attend and complete required tutor training. Maintain strict confidentiality of all student information, material, and discussions shared in the tutoring relationship. Perform additional related job duties as required. Physical Requirements Tutors may be required to travel to local High schools to provide tutoring services.
