High scorer? Experienced tutor? Either way, if you love patterns and strategies, we'll show you how to help students improve on the SAT and ACT. About Us Woodlands Test Prep is the premier test prep company in The Woodlands, offering in-home one-on-one tutoring, small group classes, and our unique Test Flight Club for live practice testing with expert feedback. We're a small, collaborative team focused on helping students build confidence through strategies, patterns, and efficiency. We teach them how to "play the test," not just review content. "We're crazy about these tests, so you don't have to be." Who We're Looking For The Strategist - at least 1 year of test prep experience, strong at spotting test patterns, focused on efficient strategies. The High Scorer - excelled on standardized tests, loves the "game" of test-taking, enjoys problem-solving and helping others win. Must have at least 6 months of some form of teaching or tutoring experience for any subjects, sports, or activities. (You need to know you enjoy working with high-schoolers.) Qualifications 90th percentile or higher scores on SAT or ACT, you must submit these scores to be considered for the position Ability to meet students in their homes in The Woodlands, TX Excellent knowledge of core Math and English topics Empathetic nature and ability to build rapport with students Consistent availability evenings/weekends Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Adaptability in teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student Ability to present complex concepts clearly and concisely Proficiency with learning technology tools and software Why Work With Us Flexible schedule & collaborative team All training, curriculum, and materials provided Above-average pay with room for growth Benefits Retirement plan with matching contributions
