In this role, you will provide engaging, personalized instruction to students, helping them excel academically and develop essential skills. You don't need to be able to teach every grade or subject — we work with your strengths, whether that's elementary reading, middle school math, high school writing, or anything in between. This opportunity is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive in a flexible environment and are eager to make a meaningful impact on young learners' educational journeys. Whether you have classroom experience or a background in early childhood education, your expertise will inspire confidence and foster a love of learning. Duties Deliver tailored tutoring sessions in the subject and grade-level areas that match your background Develop and adapt materials to meet individual student needs and learning styles Utilize learning technology tools to enhance instruction and engagement during sessions Create lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and student goals Manage session dynamics effectively to maintain a positive learning environment Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to students and parents Support students with special education needs by implementing appropriate accommodations and strategies Requirements Proven experience in tutoring, teaching, or working with children in a classroom or childcare setting Strength in one or more subject areas (e.g., math, reading, writing) and/or grade bands — you're welcome to specialize rather than cover everything Familiarity with learning technology platforms and digital educational resources Excellent communication skills to connect with students Ability to foster an inclusive, supportive atmosphere Background in early childhood education or preschool experience is a plus Knowledge of special education practices and accommodations for diverse learners is desirable Embark on a rewarding journey where your skills help shape confident, curious learners!
