Job Description
Private Reading Tutor for Children with Dyslexia Are you passionate about helping children become confident readers? We are looking for caring, dedicated tutors to provide one-on-one reading instruction to children with dyslexia. Our tutoring program specializes in individualized, evidence-based instruction using the Barton Reading & Spelling System , a highly effective structured literacy program. No prior Barton experience is required—we provide comprehensive training. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field Experience working with children in a teaching, tutoring, or educational setting A genuine passion for helping students build confidence and achieve success in reading Availability for at least 10 hours per week , primarily during before- and after-school hours Position Details Work one-on-one with students in a supportive, rewarding environment Tutoring is conducted from your home Tutors must have a suitable space for instruction A home visit and background check are required before employment We are currently hiring tutors located in or near the Murray/Holladay, Utah area If you are patient, encouraging, and committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with dyslexia, we'd love to hear from you!
