Job Summary Under supervision of the Director College Writing and Reading Centers the tutor conducts one to one and small-group conferences with student writers and readers. These conferences are response-oriented, and focus on learning about and through writing. Essential Duties & Responsibilities & Knowledge Skills & Abilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities a. Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people with a variety of abilities and backgrounds, to maintain good working relationships across the College. Minimum qualifications a. Minimum 2.5 GPA b. Successful completion of English 1010 or equivalent with a B or better. c. Currently enrolled SLCC student. Preferred Qualifications a.
