A Tutor works with students who need additional help or review. Provides instruction in an academic subject, or reviews a particular class lesson, or assists with preparing for a test. Works with students one-on-one or in a small group, and usually meets with students outside of school.

MATH TUTORS
Huntington Learning Center is looking for tutors with the ability to teach math topics ranging from lower level math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2/Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus (including AP), through AP Calculus A/B, as well as SAT and ACT-level math.

position: A candidate must be able to work in person. Candidates in remote locations should not apply. Certification/License a plus, but not required. Experience levels can vary - current and retired teachers are encouraged. Professionals with expertise in other subject areas are welcome to apply. THE OPPORTUNITY
Bring your skills and expertise to help students develop. Flexible, part-time hours - afternoon, evening, weekend, and summer. We are open every day. Work with students in a 1-to-1 setting, with the potential to work with 1-3 students as needed. There are no lesson plans to write or curriculum to develop. No parent-teacher conferences.
