Tutoring of Falls Church is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Spanish Tutor to provide one-on-one, in-home instruction to students in elementary, middle, and high school. This is an ideal opportunity for current or retired teachers, native or fluent Spanish speakers, graduate students, college students majoring in Spanish or Education, and experienced tutors who enjoy helping students build confidence and strengthen their language skills. We handle all scheduling, family communication, billing, and student matching. You get to focus on teaching. Pay $23.00 per hour Job Type Part-time Independent Contractor (1099) Flexible scheduling Location In-home tutoring throughout Falls Church and the surrounding communities. Please consider your commute before applying, as tutors travel directly to students' homes. Responsibilities Provide individualized Spanish tutoring for students in elementary, middle, and high school. Support students with vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Assist students with homework, classroom assignments, quizzes, and test preparation. Create engaging lessons tailored to each student's goals and learning style. Communicate student progress through our online reporting platform. Arrive prepared, professional, and on time. Qualifications Preferred candidates will have one or more of the following: Experience tutoring or teaching Spanish. Fluency in Spanish. Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress). Teaching certification is a plus but not required. Previous tutoring or classroom teaching experience preferred. Excellent communication skills. Reliable transportation. Why Tutor with Club Z!
