IN-HOME AFTER-SCHOOL TUTOR

After School Hours Location:
In-Home We are seeking a reliable, patient, and engaging In-Home Tutor to provide academic support to a student after school. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working one-on-one with students and can create a positive, encouraging learning environment in the student's home. The tutor will help with homework, reinforce classroom concepts, and develop strong study and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one tutoring in the student's home Assist with daily homework and school assignments Reinforce concepts taught in school Help prepare the student for quizzes and exams Identify areas where the student needs additional support Teach effective study, organization, and time-management skills Adapt tutoring methods to the student's individual learning style Encourage confidence, independence, and academic growth Communicate professionally with the student's parent/guardian regarding progress
Qualifications:
Previous tutoring, teaching, mentoring, or childcare experience preferred Strong academic background Patient, dependable, and responsible Excellent communication skills Comfortable working independently in a home setting Able to build a positive relationship with a student Reliable transportation Must be available during after-school hours College degree, college enrollment, or relevant educational experience preferred
Schedule & Compensation:
