  • Sammamish, WA Best Brains Learning Center in Sammamish is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Part-Time Tutor to join our team and help students build strong academic and reasoning skills.
Subjects Math English CogAT / Critical Thinking & Reasoning Responsibilities Teach Math and English to students in elementary and middle school grades Help students develop problem-solving, logical reasoning, and critical-thinking skills Prepare students for CogAT and similar reasoning assessments Work with students in a small-group learning environment Provide individual attention and constructive feedback Communicate student progress with the center management and parents Create a positive, engaging, and encouraging learning environment Qualifications Previous teaching, tutoring, or experience working with children preferred Strong knowledge of Math and English Comfortable teaching logical reasoning, problem-solving, and aptitude concepts Excellent communication skills Patient, energetic, and enthusiastic about working with children Reliable and professional Candidates with CogAT preparation or gifted education experience are highly preferred
