Tutor and Mentor The Prep Center Madison, WI Job Details Part-time $21 - $26 an hour 17 hours ago Benefits Paid training Flexible schedule Qualifications Youth academic support mentorship High school diploma or GED Clear language communication Math Working with youth Full Job Description Make a difference working one-on-one with students in grades 6-12 to help them build confidence and achieve their academic goals. Ideal candidates enjoy working with young people and have previous experience in mentorship or leadership roles. This could include serving as a camp counselor, team captain, scout leader, swim instructor, or similar position. Strong proficiency in high school math is required, as it is our most requested subject. We also welcome applicants with knowledge of biology, chemistry, physics, Spanish, French, or multiple subject areas. The Prep Center is conveniently located near Colectivo on Monroe Street, just a short bus ride from campus and off the Southwest Bike Path. Paid training begins in August, with tutoring starting in September. Tutors must be available for the full academic year: September 1, 2026 - June 5, 2027 . The Prep Center is a local small business.
