The Athletics are currently seeking a Part-time Bullpen Catcher at the Lew Wolff Training Complex in Mesa, Arizona. This position will be responsible for catching bullpens and supporting pitchers with rehabilitation.Responsibilities:
Serve as the bullpen catcher for the complex, warming up pitchers during practices and bullpen sessions. Ensure a positive and professional approach when communicating with players, coaches, and other staff. Collaborate closely with coaching staff on daily activities, schedules, and reporting times. Follow all team guidelines, protocols, and rules set by the league.Qualifications/Requirements:
Ability to bring a positive attitude to the ballpark each day, with a mindset committed to serving the needs of the team. High level baseball catching experience, ideally in college or professional baseball. Ability to catch multiple bullpens daily. Flexibility to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the minor league baseball schedule. Must be local to the greater Mesa, AZ area (no housing or mileage reimbursements).The A's Social Impact & Belonging Statement:
