Job Description Basketball Scorekeepers are responsible for understanding and work with our referees to enforce rules and safety guidelines in a friendly, competitive environment. Their main duties are to input the points scored, fouls, timeouts, and other important statistics during games signaled by referees. You will be asked to operate venue scoreboards and track stats using provided scorebooks. This is a part-time role, great for anyone who likes being inside, outside, enjoys sports, and is looking for supplemental income.

Responsibilities:

Ensure a safe, fun, social and fair environment for all players Understand and kindly and fairly help enforce each rules Communicate with the office regarding any equipment, rule issues, player issues, etc.

Operate Scoreboards and Track Statistics Qualifications:

Must have played the sport before and be familiar with rules (Basketball) Must be available for a minimum of eight weeks, as follows: Weekday availability from 5:30pm-10:00pm Weekend availability between 9am - 7pm Must have reliable transportation to and from venues

There will be seasons where basketball may not be running at specific venues, so this will give you the opportunity to pick up more hours if needed.
