Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Sports Card Streamer to join our team on the Whatnot platform. As a Whatnot Sports Card Streamer, you will host live streams showcasing various sports cards, providing group breaks, analysis, and entertainment to our audience. You will engage with viewers, facilitate auctions, and contribute to the growth of our community on the Whatnot platform.
Responsibilities:
Host engaging live streams on the Whatnot platform, focusing on sports card collecting. Showcase and discuss a variety of sports cards, including but not limited to baseball, basketball, football, and other popular sports. Provide expert insights, analysis, and commentary on sports cards, including trends, player values, and investment opportunities. Interact with viewers in real-time, answering questions, facilitating discussions, and building rapport with the audience. Conduct live auctions for sports cards, managing bids, and ensuring a fair and transparent auction process. Collaborate with the Whatnot team to plan and promote live stream events, maximizing audience reach and engagement. Stay informed about the latest developments in the sports card industry, including new releases, market trends, and collector preferences. Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and customer service in all interactions with viewers and participants.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated expertise in sports card collecting, with a deep understanding of different sports, players, and card values. Proven experience as a live streamer, preferably on the Whatnot platform or similar platforms such as Twitch or YouTube. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and captivate an audience. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with viewers of diverse backgrounds and interests. Tech-savvy, with proficiency in using live streaming equipment, software, and platforms. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage live auctions and ensure a smooth user experience. Passion for sports card collecting and a genuine enthusiasm for sharing knowledge and connecting with fellow enthusiasts. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to accommodate live stream schedules and events.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with hosting live auctions or sales events in an online marketplace setting. Knowledge of sports card grading, authentication, and industry best practices.
