Position Summary:

i9 Sports is currently seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Soccer Referees for our Savannah youth leagues. As a Soccer Referee, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a high-energy, safe, and fun atmosphere for our young athletes. We are looking for individuals who possess a deep understanding of soccer, experience working with children, and a strong commitment to punctuality and reliability.

Responsibilities:

Officiate youth soccer games in accordance with i9 Sports rules and regulations. Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of soccer rules and techniques to ensure fair and safe gameplay. Engage and communicate effectively with players, coaches, and parents, fostering a positive and respectful environment. Exhibit strong leadership skills to confidently manage games and provide clear instructions to participants. Strive to create a balance between competitive play and enjoyable experiences for all involved. Participate in i9 Sports Culture training to align with our mission and values.

Requirements:

A solid understanding of soccer rules and gameplay, with prior experience either as a player or referee. Experience working with children in a sports or mentoring capacity is highly preferred. Punctuality and reliability are paramount; referees must be consistently available on all 7 Saturdays of the season. Possession of reliable transportation to ensure timely arrival at game locations. Professional appearance and demeanor when representing i9 Sports. Must be at least 16 years old. Physically capable of officiating fast-paced games and maintaining control of the field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Individuals currently employed in other full-time roles, college students, and high school juniors and seniors are encouraged to apply. A verifiable history of reliability and commitment to previous roles.
