Responsibilities Enforce game rules accurately and fairly during youth flag football matches to ensure safe and enjoyable play Interpret sports regulations related to flag football, soccer, basketball, and baseball as needed to maintain game integrity Manage player conduct on the field, promoting sportsmanship and resolving conflicts promptly and professionally Conduct safety checks before games, including manual handling of equipment and ensuring adherence to safety protocols Communicate clearly with players, coaches, parents, and fellow officials to facilitate smooth game operations Respond effectively to emergency situations if necessary Assist with setting up equipment and managing tasks related to field setup or maintenance Experience Prior sports officiating experience or familiarity with youth sports is highly desirable Knowledge of sports rules across multiple disciplines such as flag football Experience working with children in a coaching or supervisory capacity is preferred Demonstrated ability to handle conflict management situations calmly and professionally Strong communication skills to effectively interact with young athletes, parents, coaches, and team staff Physical ability to perform with alertness during extended periods of standing or walking Join us in inspiring young athletes through energetic officiating!
