START YOUR APPLICATION CJB
+ Work occurs primarily during games held in the evenings and on weekends.
+ Hours vary by season and program needs.
+ Manage game time and gameplay in a professional manner.
+ Apply and enforce all rules consistently for each sporting event.
+ Inspect playing surfaces to ensure participant safety.
+ Clarify rules and expectations to coaches before each game.
+ Communicate clearly with supervisors, coaches, and participants.
+ Assist with additional recreational sports programs.
+ Must be at least 16 years of age.
+ Experience participating in sports or previous sports officiating experience
+ Understanding of the rules of basketball, flag football, baseball, and other recreational sports.
+ Ability to communicate effectively with participants and maintain positive relationships with the public.
+ Ability to officiate multiple sporting events.
+ First Aid/ AED certification required within 60 days of hire.
