Position Summary:
The New Orleans Pelicans are seeking enthusiastic and reliable part-time Team Attendants for the 2026-27 basketball season at the Smoothie King Center. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth game day operations and maintaining a professional environment for players, referees, and staff. Team Attendants will assist with locker room and court setups, support pregame and in-game activities, and handle post-game cleanups.
What You'll Be Doing:
Arrive at the arena 3.5 hours before tipoff to set up locker rooms for visiting teams and referees Ensure the court is game-ready by setting up Gatorade carts, rolling out the ball rack, and completing any additional court preparations Rebound for both home and visiting teams during warmups until tipoff Provide in-game support by managing gear, distributing water, and ensuring court safety by mopping any wet spots Collect all equipment after the game, assist visiting teams with loading buses, and clean locker rooms for the referees and visiting teams Other duties as assigned
What You'll Bring:
Must be available to work all New Orleans Pelicans home game dates (view the home schedule here) Must be at least 18 years of age Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-energy environment Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information Reliable transportation Stand/Sit/Walk for long periods of time Ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs. on a regular basis
