Job Description When you accept a position with Volo, you'll be joining a passionate, driven group of people. Hosts and Referees serve as representatives for Volo and its subsidiaries at facilities and bars and are the main point of contact for our players in leagues. This is a part time position, however, there are opportunities for advancement within the company. If you're ready to embark on a career that will impact your life and your community while having lots of fun in the process, keep scrolling… Referee responsibilities including, but not limited to: Ensure a safe, fun, social and fair environment for all players Understand and kindly and fairly enforce each sport's rules Communicate with the office regarding any equipment, rule issues, player issues, etc. Update league scores in our user interface Check in players in our user interface Promote events and upcoming leagues via social media and on-field selling Help distribute marketing materials Encourage and maintain a quality experience throughout the league Set up & take down field set up Meet players and make them feel welcome Must-Haves Must be willing and able to work weekends and nights - we are especially looking for folks with Wednesday and Thursday evening availability.
