Position:

(Purpose of the Position): To assist the varsity softball team with day-to-day duties, on practice and game days.

Reliability, Professionalism, Communication Duties and Responsibilities:

Practice Days (when available):

Assist in setting up/breaking down practice
Feeding and collecting balls for reps
Assist in running/pitching front toss in some offensive drills
Filming when needed
Recording/tracking/charting certain aspects of practice Game days (when available):
Getting the bat list ready and assisting in bat testing
Keeping score on the iPad/teaching athletes how to do the same
In-game filming responsibilities
In-game live tweeting (if applicable)
Assisting in field maintenance between games

Qualifications:

Self-motivation, Reliability, Professionalism, Communication Physical and Environmental Factors:

This position requires crouching, stooping, twisting/pivoting, climbing/balancing, reaching overhead, grasping/handling, pushing/pulling, lifting and carrying objects up to 20 lbs., and repetitive motions to perform the essential functions. It also requires occasional exposure to loud noise to perform the essential functions.
