Position:
(Purpose of the Position): To assist the varsity softball team with day-to-day duties, on practice and game days.

Practice Days (when available):
  • Assist in setting up/breaking down practice
  • Feeding and collecting balls for reps
  • Assist in running/pitching front toss in some offensive drills
  • Filming when needed
  • Recording/tracking/charting certain aspects of practice Game days (when available):
  • Getting the bat list ready and assisting in bat testing
  • Keeping score on the iPad/teaching athletes how to do the same
  • In-game filming responsibilities
  • In-game live tweeting (if applicable)
  • Assisting in field maintenance between games
Qualifications:
(Education/Experience/Skills) Some softball knowledge/background,
Self-motivation, Reliability, Professionalism, Communication Physical and Environmental Factors:
This position requires crouching, stooping, twisting/pivoting, climbing/balancing, reaching overhead, grasping/handling, pushing/pulling, lifting and carrying objects up to 20 lbs., and repetitive motions to perform the essential functions. It also requires occasional exposure to loud noise to perform the essential functions.
