POSITION SUMMARY
The primary function of this position is to officiate Adult Volleyball league games. This position will also be responsible for assisting with the set-up of courts prior to matches and collecting all equipment after games.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Deliver a safe and excellent customer service experience to our residents and program participants. 2. Enforce and adhere to existing policies and procedures, suggesting changes in current practices when necessary. 3. Examine the condition of the courts for safety and make any needed adjustments. Notify the Program Coordinator of any concerns with conditions. 4. Maintain control of the matches and individual players. 5. Communicate effectively with the Site Supervisor and the Program Coordinator. 6. Attend any referee meeting or clinics as required by Supervisor. 7. Responsible to ensure all game results are recorded with the Site Supervisor. 8. Record time and sign timesheet upon completion of games.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES 1.
Good knowledge of department rules and procedures. 2. Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions. 3. Ability to make decisions in accordance with precedents and polices. 4. Ability to communicate effectively. 5. Must have a well-rounded knowledge of sport specific rules.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 1.
Must be at least 18 years of age. 2. Comprehensive and working knowledge of USA Volleyball and Brentwood Parks and Recreation volleyball rules. 3. At least one year prior referee experience desirable.
