FREE YMCA
Membership for all staff members! YMCA Flag Football Officials officiate youth flag football games for K-3rd Grade boys and girls. Officiates flag football games using an approach that promotes skill development in support of the YMCA mission and goals. Demonstrates proper technique and terminology of sport. Provides effective information and support to participants. Builds effective, authentic relationships with participants, parents and volunteer coaches; helps them connect with each other and the YMCA. Follows YMCA policies and procedures. Assures safety of participants by enforcing YMCA game and building guidelines. Responds immediately and appropriately to unexpected situations and emergencies. Part Time, September 13th-October 18th Ongoing Shifts Also Available for Additional Youth Sports Programs Sunday, 12:30 pm-6:45 pm We are looking for someone who displays the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Must know the rules, procedures, and terminology of the sport(s). Experience playing, coaching or officiating sport(s) applicable to session(s) required. Ability to handle competing demands and appropriately maintain control of games. Desire to work with young children.
