Adult Basketball Official Classification:
Officials, Part-time Seasonal Salary Range:
Starting at $40 per game.
Supervisor:
Works under the supervision of the Recreation Supervisor
JOB SUMMARY
Adult Basketball Official will be responsible for officiating adult basketball at local schools.
JOB DUTIES
Know the rules specified for the league. Officiate all scheduled games. Turn in scoresheets in a timely manner. Report to work on time and ready to work. Absences must receive prior approval by the supervisor.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be able to stand for 3-5 hours at a time.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be 16 or older to apply. Must have a background in basketball and/or basketball officiating. The ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
