TIP OFF.. AND A TOTAL OF 3 GAMES TONIGHT PLAYED.. LOOKIN FOR A REF THAT CAN HELP. REF NEEDED FOR JULY 25TH & 26TH. STARTING
TONIGHT.. Duties Enforce basketball game rules accurately and consistently to maintain fair play Manage player conduct, resolve conflicts promptly, and ensure adherence to safety protocols Communicate clearly with coaches, players, and fellow officials to facilitate smooth game flow Monitor game equipment and court conditions for safety compliance Respond effectively to emergencies using CPR or AED when necessary, providing first aid as needed Assist with manual handling tasks such as setting up equipment or moving supplies safely Uphold all safety procedures related to heavy lifting, sports officiating standards, and emergency response protocols Qualifications Prior experience in sports officiating or coaching, particularly in basketball or related sports such as soccer or baseball Strong knowledge of sports rules interpretation and player management techniques Certification in CPR and AED operation; first aid training preferred Experience working with children or youth athletes is highly desirable Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting when required Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with players, coaches, officials, and spectators Demonstrated commitment to safety protocol adherence and conflict management skills Familiarity with sports officiating equipment and safety gear is a plus Join us as a Basketball Official and be part of a vibrant community dedicated to promoting active lifestyles through safe, fair, and exciting sporting events!
Pay:
$40.00 - $50.00 per hour
