Job Description

Summary The Scorekeeper is responsible for accurately operating the time clock and scoresheet as well as DJ Duties and public-address announcements. keeping score for the assigned game and accurately reporting. This position may be assigned to additional tasks such as videography of games, ushering, penalty box attendant, DJ/Music, announcer and other duties as assigned per scheduled game and/or special event. (Note games last approx. 1.5hrs)
Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage the time clock per game Maintain score of assigned games and accurately report Operate the PA system when necessary for public announcements and DJ duties Act as an usher during special events Provide excellent customer service to guests inquires and questions. Provide timely resolution to issues and escalate when appropriate Maintains user confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications for the
Position:
High School Diploma or GED Required Ability to work a flexible schedule including weeknights, weekends and holidays Previous customer service experience preferred Knowledge of hockey preferred Critical Competencies Takes initiative and actively seeks continued excellence Ability to communicate clearly verbally and written Excellent time management skills Attention to detail and timely follow through is essential Organized ability to prioritize Ability to multitask Compensation The pay for this role is $16.00 an hour.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
This role operates in both an office setting and in a live events setting. Live event coverage does consist of being around loud stadium noises and crowds. Candidate must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving boxes up to 20 pounds.
