Afrim's Sports Youth Program Coach (Part-Time)
Location:
Afrim's Sports Malta - 2381 US 9, Mechanicville, NY About the Role We're looking for energetic, reliable individuals who enjoy working with kids and want to build leadership and coaching skills. As a Youth Sports Coach, you'll lead fun, structured classes that introduce children (ages 18 months to 12 years) to fundamental physical development and sports skills in a positive, encouraging environment. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in coaching, education, childcare, or youth development. What You'll Do Lead and assist with age-appropriate sports and movement classes Create a fun, engaging, and supportive environment for all participants Teach basic athletic skills such as coordination, balance, and teamwork Communicate with parents about class progress and programs Represent Afrim's Sports with enthusiasm and professionalism Schedule Schedule may vary, the following are just examples of potential schedules Weekday evenings Weekend mornings Classes run year-round What We're Looking For Enjoys working with children of all ages Positive, energetic, and engaging personality Strong communication skills with both kids and parents Reliable and able to commit to a full 13-week session Team-oriented and coachable Willingness to help promote programs and engage families Access to reliable transportation (some travel may be required) Compensation $16.00-$18.00 per hour (based on experience) Part-time position
