Job Description
We are currently looking for energetic, positive, and dependable individuals to join our coaching staff and help create an outstanding experience for youth flag football players. Coaches play a vital role in teaching the fundamentals of flag football while fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, confidence, and a love for the game. Our youth leagues feature a fast-paced 5-on-5 format, and coaches should be prepared to lead engaging practices, communicate effectively with players and parents, and create a fun, safe, and encouraging environment for athletes of all skill levels. Previous coaching experience is helpful but not required—we provide training, resources, and ongoing support for individuals who are passionate about working with young athletes. League activities are held at locations including Schenley Park, Brentwood, Monroeville, Montour, and McCandless, with practice and game schedules varying by season. We are seeking coaches who are reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young athletes both on and off the field. Prior coaching experience is not required, but highly preferred. Coaches with children participating in the league will receive a 50% off discount for the next season their child plays.
Time Commitment:
Each team will have a 45 minute practice then 45 minute game each week. All practices and games are game days only and below is an estimated time range for each location. Ideally coaches should only coach one team, but exceptions are made by each location.Availability:
Fall Season Mondays 8:00pm- 10:45pm Saturdays 10:00am
- 3:00pm Sundays 12:00pm
- 6:30pm Fridays 6:00pm
- 10:00pm Spring Season Mondays 8:00pm
- 10:45pm Saturdays 10:00am
- 3:00pm Sundays 12:00pm
- 6:30pm Fridays 6:00pm
- 10:00pm Summer Season Tuesdays 6:00pm
- 10:00pm Wednesdays 6:00pm
- 10:00pm Thursdays 6:00pm
- 10:00pm Requirements 18yrs or older with reliable transportation.
