Game Day Manager Company Description:
i9 Sports - Austin is one of the largest youth sports providers in the greater Austin area serving over 20,000 youth players per year. We focus on youth sports leagues, camps and clinics whose mission is to help kids succeed in life through sports.
Overall Job Description:
The i9 Sports Game Day manager is a hands-on role responsible for managing multiple locations on game days (weekends) as well as some weekly duties pertaining to managing staff and preparing for each the upcoming game days. This is a part time job averaging about 20-30 hrs per week. This role will cover South Central Austin / Westlake/ Far West Blvd.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Schedule staff for game days Recruit/Manage/Direct volunteer coaches to ensure a positive experience for both the players and parents Weekly maintenance of ongoing leagues - score cards, field info, field prep, equipment inventory and review Manage/Direct site coordinators and referees for assigned locations Be willing to learn and ref all of our sports to teach new staff (flag football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, baseball)
Requirements:
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to efficiently solve problems Excellent organization skills and the ability to multi-task Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently Must possess a valid driver's license Strong organization and presentation skills Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional business relationships Strong analysis/problem-solving abilities Proficiency in core Microsoft Office programs and comfort in learning and using new technology Ability to work a varied work schedule including Saturdays, Sundays, and some evenings. •Having a truck/SUV is a plus!
Compensation:
Hourly compensation starting @ $20/hr based on experience Please Reach out to the Area Program Director if interested with your resume.
