Responsibilities Enforce game rules accurately and interpret sports regulations to ensure fair competition. Officiate youth soccer matches by making clear, confident calls on fouls, goals, and game infractions. Manage player conduct and resolve conflicts promptly to maintain a safe and respectful environment. Communicate effectively with coaches, players, parents, and fellow officials to facilitate smooth game flow. Conduct safety checks on equipment and field conditions before and during matches. Respond swiftly to emergency situations by administering basic first aid or activating emergency protocols as needed. Maintain detailed records of game incidents, scores, and officiating reports for accountability. Skills Proven sports coaching experience or officiating background in soccer or other team sports such as basketball or baseball. Strong understanding of sports rules interpretation across multiple disciplines including soccer, basketball, and baseball. Certified in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation for emergency preparedness. Experience working with children in sports or educational settings to foster positive engagement. Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of equipment or field setup materials safely. Knowledge of safety protocols related to sports officiating and field management. Excellent communication skills to clearly convey decisions and manage conflicts effectively. This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about youth sports, safety, and fair play!
