Job Description

Position Summary Roosevelt City Recreation is seeking dependable and enthusiastic individuals to serve as Youth Volleyball Scorekeepers/Helpers. This position supports the successful operation of the youth volleyball program by keeping score, assisting with game-day operations, and helping create a fun, safe, and organized environment for participants, coaches, and spectators.
Key Responsibilities:
Keep accurate score and operate the scoreboard during youth volleyball games. Assist Recreation staff with setting up and taking down equipment before and after games. Help ensure games start on time and run efficiently. Provide courteous assistance to coaches, players, and spectators as needed. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing Roosevelt City Recreation. Report any game-day concerns, incidents, or equipment issues to Recreation staff. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be at least 16 years of age . Knowledge of volleyball scoring is preferred but not required. Training will be provided. Ability to work well with staff, coaches, and the public. Dependable, punctual, and responsible. Ability to work weekday evenings and occasional weekends during the volleyball season. Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Ability to work in a gymnasium environment. Compensation $10.00 per game
