Job Description

N Zone Sports Southern Utah is looking for energetic, responsible, and dependable Youth Soccer Referees to help officiate our upcoming youth soccer league in the St. George, Utah area. This is a great part-time opportunity for someone who enjoys soccer, working with children, and creating a positive sports experience for young athletes. Position Responsibilities Officiate youth soccer games according to league rules and guidelines Maintain a safe, positive, and fun environment for players Start and end games on time Monitor gameplay and make appropriate calls regarding fouls, out-of-bounds plays, goals, and other game situations Help players understand and follow the rules when appropriate Communicate respectfully with players, coaches, parents, and N Zone Sports staff Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate good sportsmanship Arrive on time and prepared for assigned games Help ensure games run smoothly and stay on schedule Qualifications Previous soccer playing or refereeing experience is preferred, but not required Strong understanding of basic soccer rules Comfortable working with children ages approximately 3-12 Reliable and punctual Positive, patient, and professional attitude Able to confidently make decisions during games Good communication skills Must be comfortable working outdoors Must be able to pass a background check, if required Experience as a youth soccer player, coach, referee, or sports official is a plus.
Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
