Kickball Referees Wanted for FXA Sports!

FXA Sports is Virginia's Largest Co-ed, Men's & Women's Adult Sports League with over 100,000 players participating in 145+ leagues within our 18 sports (Flag Football, Soccer, Basketball, Indoor Volleyball, Outdoor Volleyball, Softball, Golf, Kickball, Cornhole, Tennis, Pickleball, Bowling, Ultimate Frisbee, Lacrosse, Dodgeball, Spikeball, Bocce Ball, and Bar Sports). We are looking for fun and hard-working people to join our growing team!

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Arrive at field 15 minutes before game time Setup game field Referee games Breakdown field

REQUIRED

Good understanding of baseball/softball rules Must learn FXA Sports co-ed kickball rules Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to handle conflict and be authoritative during rule disputes Good personality and people skills Attend on field training Available to referee one or more league days: Wednesday Nights, Thursday Nights, and/or Sunday Afternoons Able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds Must have reliable transportation Applicants must be at least 18 years old Available to officiate games in the Northern VA area Willing to commit to a full season (8 weeks + playoffs)

PREFERRED

Experience in referring/officiating Played on an adult sports team(s) Teaching or leadership experience

Salary:

$20 - $30/hour depending on experience.

Pay:

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
