Job Title:
New and Experienced Flag Football Referee As a Flag Football Referee, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring fair play and upholding the integrity of the game. Whether you're new to officiating or have years of experience, your enthusiasm and commitment will help create a positive environment for players of all ages. You'll be responsible for enforcing rules, managing game flow, and fostering sportsmanship on the field. What you'll do Officiate flag football games with confidence and authority, ensuring all rules are followed. Communicate effectively with players, coaches, and spectators to maintain a respectful atmosphere. Manage conflicts on the field with poise and professionalism, promoting fair play. Collaborate with fellow referees to ensure consistency in officiating across games. Provide guidance and support to younger players, enhancing their understanding of the game. Conduct pre-game briefings to clarify rules and expectations with teams. Maintain accurate records of game outcomes and incidents as needed. Basic qualifications Strong communication skills to articulate decisions clearly and effectively. Experience working with children in a sports or coaching environment. Ability to manage conflicts calmly and constructively. Preferred qualifications Background in football or other sports that require officiating experience. Previous coaching experience that demonstrates leadership in a sports setting. Knowledge of flag football rules and regulations.
