In this role, you'll be at the heart of the action, ensuring fair play and fostering a positive environment for players of all ages. Your expertise will help shape the game and inspire athletes to reach their full potential! What you'll do Officiate volleyball matches with confidence and authority, ensuring adherence to game rules and regulations. Communicate effectively with players, coaches, and spectators to maintain a respectful and enjoyable atmosphere. Manage conflicts on the court with poise, promoting sportsmanship and fair play. Collaborate with fellow referees to ensure smooth game operations and uphold high officiating standards. Engage with young athletes, providing guidance and support while fostering their love for the sport. Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills and stay updated on rule changes. Provide constructive feedback to players, helping them improve their performance and understanding of the game. Basic qualifications Strong communication skills to articulate decisions clearly and effectively. Experience working with children or youth in a sports setting is highly desirable. Preferred qualifications Background in sports coaching or related experience that demonstrates leadership abilities. Knowledge of conflict management techniques to handle on-court disputes gracefully. Familiarity with basketball is a plus, as it enhances your overall understanding of officiating dynamics.
