Job Summary:

Flag Football Referees are responsible for monitoring and controlling game play. Season runs on Saturday mornings from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm September - October.

Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

Supervise and control general conduct of participants. Enforce rules and regulations of game Inspect the facility conditions and safety of area. Reports all significant events, problems, issues, or occurrences to immediate supervisor. Observe and follow safety rules at all times. Reports to work on time, and does not leave their job until closing or unless directed by their immediate supervisor. Assures the safe keeping of all equipment. Wears staff shirt at all times, unless otherwise stated by immediate supervisor. Develops positive relationships with program participants, their families, and the general public.

Job Requirements:

At least 16 years of age. Experience working with children, preferably ages 7-12. Must be personable, enthusiastic, patient, and have leadership qualities. Must have good people skills. Ability and willingness to work outdoors. Must be able to meet physical demands of job. Must have transportation means to and from work site. Prohibited from the use of tobacco products, drugs or alcohol during work hours and should not be under the influence when arriving to work. Knowledge of flag football rules and regulations.
