This position will be responsible for all on field decisions and rule interpretations, maintaining a safe playing environment, explaining calls to participants and completing required paperwork for youth sporting events. The Youth Flag Football Official will be in charge of refereeing Youth Flag Football.

Pay:

$35 per game. This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary. Set up equipment and fields for the sport program. Effectively communicate and demonstrate skills to participants and parents. Leads and participates in sport programming while properly demonstrating skills. Reports anything "unusual" or any out of the ordinary issues immediately to the supervisor. Responsible for the safety and well-being of participants in the programs. Responsible for the cleanup of all equipment used and turning off field lights if needed.

Certification in American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid preferred. Prior experience working with kids and/or sports desired. Language Skills Ability to communicate orally and in writing with participants, City personnel, Department personnel and City residents. Other Qualifications Prior experience working with children, adults, families, and sports. Ability to effectively meet and deal with the public. Ability to work effectively in cooperation with fellow employees. Reports to the Youth Program coordinator.
