Adjunct Faculty - Multilingual Education (Evergreen) 2026-08-06 Lesley University all cities,
AK Description:
The Opportunity Lesley University invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach upcoming weekend, online and in-person classes within our Multilingual Education program at the graduate level. Courses in this area include topics such as Bilingual Instruction and Assessment, Content Literacy, English as a Second Language, Language Acquisition, and Oral Development for grades PreK-12. Classes in this department are primarily taught on-campus and in-person. Since adjunct faculty positions are ongoing, evergreen positions, your materials will remain on file and will be reviewed on an as-needed basis throughout the upcoming semesters. By submitting your application, you will be put into consideration for current and future adjunct positions within the Multilingual Education area. We hire adjunct faculty on a regular cadence to support our Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. The specific course hired for is subject to change depending on semester, course catalog, and department needs. About Education At Lesley, we believe education is a lifelong journey. Qualities & Capabilities Required:
Master's degree in Bilingual Education, ESL, Multilingual Education, TESOL, or a related field Relevant Massachusetts DESE license or equivalent from another state 5+ years of successful teaching experience at the PreK-12 level. preferably in a multilingual classroom setting Knowledge of and competence with basic tenets of social justice education Experience in constructivist, inquiry-based learning with an emphasis on student engagement
Preferred:
