Overview Join our dynamic educational team as a Coding Instructor, where you'll ignite a passion for technology and programming among learners of K-5 grades. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to teach a wide range of coding skills, from scratch to python. As a Coding Instructor, you will design engaging lessons, facilitate hands-on learning experiences, and inspire elementary kids to explore the limitless possibilities of technology. Your expertise will help cultivate the next generation of developers, programmers, and tech innovators in a vibrant learning environment. Duties Deliver engaging classroom instruction on scratch and python. Develop comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and adapt to diverse student needs. Provide personalized tutoring and technical training to students working on projects related to web development, software development, and computer networking. Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and practical exercises; give constructive feedback to support continuous improvement. Foster a positive learning environment by working closely with students to build confidence in their technical skills and problem-solving abilities. Experience Proven experience teaching or tutoring in information technology or computer science at K-5 grades. Demonstrated ability to develop lesson plans for elementary kids. Classroom experience or experience conducting technical training sessions that involve working directly with students. Familiarity with teaching elementary students. Excellent communication skills.
