Full Job Description Job Title:

Part-time STEM Instructor (K-8)

Pay:

$30 per hour

Job Summary:

Co-instruct a classroom of 20-30 students to learn about STEM while completing various engineering projects

Job Duties:

Provide students with a project-based learning environment Teach students basic engineering principles Build multiple projects with students Provide weekly lesson plans to your liaison(s) Ability to effectively communicate lessons Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and participating in training sessions Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related duties as needed.

Skills/Qualifications:

Pursuing at least a Bachelor's Degree in education, engineering, math or science discipline Basic knowledge of engineering fields and principles Classroom management skills; Communication; Time management; Leadership Previous work with elementary and/or middle school students
