We are looking for a dynamic, knowledgeable, and innovative educator who can provide engaging instruction in business and career-focused courses while preparing students with practical skills for college, careers, entrepreneurship, and the workforce. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction in Business Education courses. Develop and implement lesson plans that promote student achievement and mastery of business concepts. Teach skills related to business, entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, management, technology, and career readiness, as applicable to assigned courses. Integrate real-world business applications and project-based learning into classroom instruction. Support students in developing professional, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Prepare and support students in earning applicable Industry Certifications. Utilize instructional technology and digital resources to enhance student learning. Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners. Maintain a positive, structured, and student-centered classroom environment. Assess student progress and use data to guide instruction. Communicate consistently with parents, colleagues, and administrators regarding student progress. Collaborate with the CTE Department and participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or higher. Florida Department of Education Certification in Business Education (Grades 6-12) or eligibility for certification. (Temporary, Professional, or Statement of Eligibility accepted.) Experience teaching Business Education, Career and Technical Education (CTE), or related courses preferred. Industry Certification experience is highly desirable.
