Rainbow Tutoring Center PLUS is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Cooking Instructor for our Children's Cooking Academy. We are looking for someone who can make cooking educational, practical, safe, and fun while teaching children age-appropriate kitchen skills, simple recipes, food preparation, nutrition concepts, organization, and healthy habits.

Pay:

$20.00-$25.00 per hour , depending on experience, qualifications, certifications, and relevant teaching/professional background.

Schedule:

Flexible. Hours and frequency are based on student enrollment and demand for the Cooking Academy.

Responsibilities:

Lead engaging, hands-on cooking sessions for children and/or teens. Teach simple, age-appropriate recipes. Introduce basic kitchen skills, measuring, food preparation, and cleanup. Reinforce kitchen organization, hygiene, food safety, and safe use of equipment. Incorporate basic nutrition and healthy eating concepts. Maintain a safe, structured, and professional learning environment.

Qualifications:

Culinary education, professional cooking/baking experience, food-service experience, teaching experience, or related certification preferred. Experience working with children is highly desirable. Food-safety certification is strongly preferred. Must be reliable, organized, patient, and professional. CPR/First Aid certification required before beginning services. Background screening/fingerprinting required. Professional Liability Insurance required. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
