Teach from a biblical worldview, weaving faith into lessons, conversations, and daily routines. Model Christ-like character, guiding students not only academically but also spiritually and socially. Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning styles and needs. Maintain a structured, positive, and caring classroom environment that encourages respect, responsibility, and joy in learning. Communicate regularly with parents, building strong partnerships to support student growth. Assess student progress and adjust instruction to ensure mastery of skills and concepts. Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff as part of a supportive school community. Participate in school events, chapel, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
A personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ, with a commitment to modeling a Christ-centered life. Bachelor's degree in Education (Elementary Education preferred). State teaching certification is recommended but not required. Previous teaching experience in early elementary grades preferred. A strong foundation in phonics, early literacy, and math instruction. A heart for ministry through education, and a passion for helping children grow academically and spiritually. Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Work Environment:
Full-time, 10-month position. Classroom-based with occasional evenings/weekends for school functions.
