Job Description

Black Hawk College seeks an ESL Instructor for our Adult Education Program. Provide English as a Second Language instruction to improve students' English language skills and prepare them for cultural integration in the workforce and community.

Prepare and deliver instruction based on textbooks and supporting materials. Administer standardized tests to measure progress.

Bachelor's degree required. Previous teaching experience or experience with ESL adult learners preferred.
Work hours are:
Monday-Thursday 5:00-7:30 pm Bachelor's candidates start at $26.88/hour. Master's candidates at $31.36/hour. Black Hawk College does not sponsor employment visas. Candidates hired to teach at Black Hawk College are required to submit official transcripts within three weeks of hire date.
